Summer Allotment

Just got our own allotment this summer and have lettuce, onions, courgettes, rocket, beetrrot, potatoes…

and joining the Irish seed society which reuse seeds that we sow. Also have turned the back garden into fruit garden with currants, strawberries etc. So all going well with growing our own produce and to taste the produce is amazing, fresh crispy lettuce etc.. Also have given up using my dishwasher - I think I use it 5 times a year now, Christmas and our 4 birthday parties when I host the party..and this is the truth, people don't believe me when I tell them this with 3 young children but I bought a house with a dishwasher and that’s the only reason I even use the 5 times a year. I fond filling and emptying is harder than a wash up with hot water already in the taps. Also a tip for those who do use the dishwasher, it sterilizes your babies bottle reducing the electricity
