Removing the lime

We are currently are in the process of installing a system that removes the lime from our water supply.

We found our appliances were breaking down alot due to lime build up, which also meant our water tank was full of lime and not heating water efficiently. So we are going to replace our tank and install a new immersion with a timer. I have also turned down the thermostat by two degrees and turned off radiators in rooms that are not being used.
