Leaving my wife in the dark!
05 Oct 2009
I am conscious of switching off lights as I leave a room.
I've gotten into the habit very quickly and don't even think about it so much so that I sometimes forget my wife is in the room and I end up leaving her sitting in the dark! Oops!
Also, on a few occasions I have done the drive to Croke Park and brought friends and family members with me. It's easier to travel all together rather than having a number of cars paying for parking and adding to the congestion. It's better fun when we're all in the car also.
Over the past few months I have started to switch to the low energy light bulbs. I have changed 6 so far by buying a bulb every fortnight when I do the food shopping.
