Cycling to Croke Park
27 Aug 2009
One way for the reduction of carbon emissions this year would be to limit the number of tickets for Kilkenny in this year’s All-Ireland final.
By giving their tickets to Tipperary, this will mean that more Tipp supporters can car pool or take public transport or, as was the old way, cycle up to Croke park on the day. Tipp have further to travel and therefore the greater the number of car pools / public transport on account of less Kilkenny supporters getting tickets, it means greater savings. However the chances of this happening will be slim (the ticket aspect that is)!
