Tickets to Ireland’s 6 Nations Matches

06 Jan 2010

Following Ireland’s Grand Slam success in last year’s 6 Nations there is great excitement coming up to this year's Championship. No doubt there will be great care within the Irish team to manage expectations of a back-to-back Grand Slam.

Winning the Grand Slam two years in a row is a very rare feat - successive Grand Slams have only been achieved on four other occasions - England (1913-1914, 1923-1924 and 1991-1992) and France (1997-1998). The challenge is not made easier by Ireland having travel away to play England and France.

As recognition of our appreciation for your support during 2009 and your continued support in 2010 in making Croke Park carbon neutral we are offering tickets to each of the three 2010 6 Nations home matches.

In December Michael O'Callaghan won two tickets to Ireland’s opening match against Italy which takes place at Croke Park on 6th February. If you would like another chance to win tickets to this match visit the Cul Green Facebook page at www.facebook.com/culgreen.

This month we are offering two tickets to the Ireland versus Wales match on 13th March at Croke Park – no doubt Wales will want to make amends for their narrow defeat in last year’s decider at the Millenium Stadium and should be a great match.

Then in February we will be offering two tickets to Ireland’s final match against Scotland which takes place at Croke Park on 20th March.

To enter the draw for these prizes each month simply register and complete a carbon saving pledge. Pledges include taking public transport to Croke Park rather than your car, switching off lights when you leave a room, not overfilling the kettle and so on – simple tasks that will save energy and money in 2010.
